1569 FITs this week, up 7% from last week. Another $4.4 million in equity went up in smoke this week.

Max, I asked this question two weeks ago but don't think you replied: Since you define FITs as selling for less than they paid within the last 2 years, do FITs that are aged 2 years and one week fall off the Fit rolls?
For consistency's sake, I've left the definition as previously stated, which would mean a house would fall off the list if its two year term expires without a sale.
At one point I looked into expanding the time frame, but the two year cutoff was capturing >90% of the houses selling at a loss. It might be time to revisit the issue, however...
1569 FIT's is past the half way point for 3,000 by years end and we have major subprime resets coming down the pipe. Look for more hedge funds crashing and the imploder a meter to top 100.
This is a slow motion housing implosion, wait for it.
OMG, it's a blood bath up there... It has been 8mos since I checked your blog and there is even more red ink. Am I surprised? No. Did it need to happen? Yes. That serves me right for not checking in. Hey in 6-8 months intervals this bubble is bursting at a pretty fast clip.
