That crap box on 6289 Fruitridge Rd is still priced at 270K with what looks like baorded up windows. I think I may drive by there. It looks to me the place is worth about 50K.

Max, I could kiss you. You made my month with the rundown on Yolo county! I watch this market like a hawk and I love that you are seeing exactly what I am seeing.

Everyone is depending on renting out what they can't sell to save themselves. Davis will feel the least amount of pain but Southport and Woodland are about to get hosed. Any attempts to gentrify West sacramento is going to get stopped in it's tracks. The denial is amazing.

I'll slip you some moola pay for the wonderful schenfreude I'm getting from this. It's almost better then sex. I think us Sac area blog regulars need to get together this spring and enjoy a few rounds of microbrew. I'll buy the first round myself. A woman buying drinks for other - woohoo >; )

Glad to be back in town. I was in Ohio and saw a duplex for sale for $18,000! Wow. How low can the market go? Well, I don't think it can get to negative numbers.....I mean, real estate can not become a "liability", can it?

Actually, in Baltimore during the last bust, the city was giving away buildings to people if they promised to fix them up.

Guess what: very few takers.

I think you are going to get very busy. 21% of subprime loan are going to end in foreclosure. That means fianacial institutions are going to be discounting houses.

This is a good place to look for deals!

But, 4100 Folsom blvd is mid rise condos, same address for any floor. Prices vary by floor and footage. Tom Raley owned the penthouse for over $1 mil.

RE: Baltimore, we (city o sac) give away stuff here also, sometimes with money attached.
